Escape Rijskmuseum

James Wilson really wanted to do the Escape Game at the Rijksmuseum so we did it today.  It took nearly 4 hours to solve the mystery, and I gave up several times and wandered off on my own to explore the museum, but in the end we solved it. It’s a pretty clever game and they do a good job of making sure each clue leads to a different part of the museum so you end up covering a lot of ground and seeing quite a bit of the art.  We felt pretty accomplished once we finally solved the mystery and it was great to see James Wilson really engaged and having so much fun. Focusing on solving the game gave him a break from the constant realization that we just moved to a different country where we don’t know anyone and where everything is different. It was good for all of us.
