Hello, I’m Jennifer Barnett. Welcome to my blog about my expat life in Amsterdam where I write about my family, our animal’s shenanigans, our little canal boat, Dutch stuff, our travels, and whatever else bubbles up.

I also write personal essays that are dark and (I like to think) funny and usually have some sort of social commentary, which I post on Medium.

In my former life I worked in magazines (The Atlantic, Teen Vogue, Redbook, and Elle).
