Partial Lockdown

We’re back in partial lockdown as of today. Yesterday we had more than 7,000 new COVID cases and the hospitals are filling up. Prime Minister Rutte announced the new partial lockdown measures at a press conference on Tuesday. Restaurants and bars are closing except for takeout, there are limits to the number of people allowed to gather and face masks are now required indoors. School is still in person and JW went back yesterday despite 3 students and a teacher in his class testing positive last week. If the numbers don’t improve in two weeks the government said we’ll go into full lockdown. We’re doing ok. We’re just doing what we’ve been doing which is staying home and keeping to ourselves. I worry about JW being in school but we’re just doing the best we can to eliminate other risks.
