Tram to a Fancy Theater
August 13, 2018
James started his job today, so James Wilson and I were on our own. I’ve mostly been relying on James to navigate us around, so I was nervous about striking out without him, mostly because I didn’t want to stress James Wilson out. We used the GVB App to help us figure out the transportation and figured out how to take the Tram into city center to see a movie. We missed the first Tram because we were in the wrong spot, and then James Wilson almost got stuck on the Tram because the doors started to close while he was trying to get his card to register on the way out (you have to use it when you get on and when you get off) but we made it.
The Tuschinski Theater was incredible. It’s an old art deco theater that’s been restored to it’s original glory. So fancy. I’d like to get dressed up and go there at night with James.
After the movie we went to a noodle shop, then figured out the Tram ride home.
We had to rush back because it was time to let Brian out and feed him and Kitty dinner.
So glad we ventured out. I’m proud of us.
